This blog post is a long awaited catch up, I have hugely neglected my blog and my instagram recently and I completely hate it when I get into these blogging ruts. I’m sure I’m not the only one.
Blogging is something I do because I love it, I’m a fairly creative person and I use this as my creative outlet, so when I get into the ‘nothing to blog about’ rut it makes me feel poo.
I have been very busy recently, with second year of university and my part time job, I’ve also had a bit of a hard time anxiety wise recently, which unlike last year I’m not ashamed to talk about it. BUT…I’m back, and I’m ready to delve into the festivities as it is only SIX WEEKS until Christmas, and I don’t know about you guys but I am very excited, and I have a lot of ideas for posts.
I’ve decided to stop putting pressure on myself with blog posts and instagrams. I’m going to post about what I love, I’m going to continue with beauty fashion and lifestyle stuff but I’m going to include some creative, arty stuff, DIY’s and baking too – I hope that’s ok with you all.
I also want to make my blog better, I want to improve the layout and design and make it more professional, I want to keep to a posting schedule and I also want to improve my content and photography. If you have any advice, please do leave a comment!
Another thing I wanted to talk about was YouTube. It’s something that I did start a while ago, I posted a few videos last year and I did get a really good response but I am SO nervous about it, so I panicked and set them all to private. It’s not a lot to do with what you guys think of me because you’re all in the world of blogging, and YouTubing etc so it’s normal to you but how do people who have started YouTube deal with the people in your real everyday life?! It’s something I’d love to do but I’m so scared about how my friends and family would react haha. Probably silly I know, but any advice would be gratefully received.
All my love,
